The Plaza de Verónicas, the traditional shops, the Plaza de las Flores, the artisan meat pies or the inhabitants of the neighborhood will be the protagonists of this Murcia Inspira event
Pascual & Vincent will radiograph the Barrio de San Pedro, through its objectives, in the second edition of Miradas, the photography cycle of Murcia Inspira and Cervezas Alhambra.
With the idea of tasting life in all its nuances, the two artists will show us emblematic places such as the Veronicas Square, the traditional shops, the Plaza de las Flores, the artisan meat pies or the inhabitants of a neighborhood that is already an icon of the city of Murcia.
The exhibition opens on March 13, at 8:00 p.m., in the bar Zaher Denfrente
The neighborhood of San Pedro is an enclave that allows you to stop, look and meet those neighbors in which we never repair.
And that is the goal that Pascual & Vincent, two photographers of long trajectory, intend to create community through their images, will make the inhabitants of the pride of their neighborhood participate, promote self-knowledge and give value to photography as a social connector.
In short, they will give to the Murcian public "Momentos Alhambra" with its own personality.
Pascual Martínez (Murcia, 1977) and Vincent Sáez (Almoradí, 1976) are a duo of photographers who combine their photographic work with specialized training, advice on projects and the design and curating of photographic exhibitions.
Seduced by human relations and the study of society through photography as a means of anthropological exploration, they carry out different independent projects that reflect identity from a perspective of the natural environment as the main axis of their discourse, trying to transmit and represent new realities away from clichés.
Miradas links Murcia photographers with a background in documentary photography to the future of life in the city.
The proposal of Cervezas Alhambra, which invites you to stop looking and observe in detail what the immediacy of everyday life prevents from appreciating, puts the focus on the everyday to know it in depth and connect people with their environment.
The photographs, like the creations of the master brewers, are the result of knowledge and passion, are unique conceptions of the reality that surrounds us and that sometimes goes unnoticed before our eyes.
Miradas will hold a third exhibition within the Murcia Inspira project and will close the cycle in a final exhibition, which will collect the images of the three previous editions in a singular space of the city.
An event that will gather the photographers of Murcia and all their followers, always by the hand of Cervezas Alhambra.
