The University of Murcia opens this Tuesday, March 5, the eighteenth edition of the course 'Current state of the process of donation and transplantation of organs and tissues.
Involvement of students and professionals in social sciences and health ', which will take place in the auditorium of the University Social Center (Campus de Espinardo), at 4.30 p.m.
The act will have the presence, among others, of José Luján, rector of the UMU;
Manuel Villegas, Health Advisor of the CARM;
and Elisabeth Coll, medical director of the National Transplant Organization of the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare of the Government of Spain.
Throughout this course, which will take place during the month of March, the most important clinical concepts and psychosocial aspects that influence the most determining phases of organ and tissue donation will be addressed.
