Murcia change has urged the president of the region and the regional PP, Fernando Lopez Miras, to rectify the statements in which he said that if your party wins the general election on April 28 the AVE will reach the municipality according to your project, that is to say, on the surface, and that otherwise the municipalist formation will present a motion to the next Plenary for its public reprobation.
Councilman Sergio Ramos has lamented that, "again", Lopez Miras "disparage thousands of neighbors who have mobilized for more than 500 nights to avoid the division of their neighborhoods," and has struck out the president's assertions of " irresponsible "and to go against the initiatives approved within the City Council and the regional Assembly, which defend the underground arrival of High Speed.
"If not rectify, Murcia Change will seek the maximum consensus among the municipal groups that support the burial to publicly fail the president of the Autonomous Community," Ramos added in a press release.
In addition, the mayor has demanded the Government delegate in Murcia, Diego Conesa, to proceed urgently to the awarding of the section between El Carmen and Barriomar, in order to ensure that the burial project is carried out in a comprehensive manner, in line with what different social groups like the ProSoterramiento Platform have been requesting for months.
Ramos has expressed concern about the closure of the step at the level of Santiago el Mayor and, in this regard, has insisted on the need to inform neighbors of all deadlines and mobility alternatives, as well as to study the option to place a temporary step, even if only for pedestrians.
