The councilor of Cambiemos Murcia, Margarita Guerrero, will request the Government team in the plenary session on Thursday to urge the Autonomous Community to carry out a study on the health needs of the Murcia East area and launch the Emergency Service of Primary Care (SUAP) of Bacons Bridge.
The Murcia East zone, corresponding to the Health Area VII, includes the districts of Alquerías, Beniaján, Tocinos Bridge, Llano de Brujas, Monteagudo and Casillas;
neighborhoods of the municipality such as El Carmen, Infante, Santiago el Mayor and Vistabella, and neighboring municipalities such as Beniel and Santomera.
Guerrero explained that the establishment of an SUAP within the health center of Puente Tocinos is a neighborhood demand that was submitted to the debate of the municipal council of that district in 2016, and approved.
The municipal training recalled that this is not the first time that some of the opposition groups to the House plenary session "health deficiencies", and last October a motion was raised to urge the regional government to meet the investments announced by the Ministry of Health in primary care centers, specialties and mental health centers in Santiago and Zaraiche.
In addition, the implementation of an SUAP for the northern zone with sufficient personnel has also been carried out;
the adequate planning of agreements to the population requirements and geographic dispersion of the municipality and the improvement of the SUAP conditions of Infante Juan Manuel, as well as its transfer to the center of Ronda Sur to serve the residents of this area, who will have more difficulties in access due to the works of the AVE.
Therefore, one of the agreements proposed by Cambiemos Murcia is that the Murcian Health Service (SMS) proceed to review the areas in terms of demography and health needs, in order to correct the existing deficit.
