The students in the Training Program to Improve Employability of the Alquerías Employment Resource Center received their diplomas at the end of the course this morning.
The participants have received training in English, computer science and social networks, and Spanish for immigrants as well as key competences in Spanish and mathematics.
In total 555 hours of training have been taught in which 63 people have participated, of which 53 have been women and 10 men.
By age, 48 are older than 30 and 15 are younger than 30.
Thus, in the Spanish course for immigrants, 16 women (5 under 30 and 11 over 30) participated, in the Basic Computing and Social Networks, 15 people (11 women and 4 men), of which over 30 years 14 and 1 younger than 30;
in English A1, with 16 participants (2 men and 14 women), of which 13 over 30 and 3 under 30;
and in English B1, 16 participants (4 men and 12 women) of which 10 over 30 and 6 under 30.
To facilitate the training of participants who have children, the Employment Service has offered them a playroom in the Alquerías Resource Center, where their children under 4 years of age are looked after by a professional while they are studying.
The students have assessed the content, teaching and training given with a 9.27 out of 10.
