It is an educational video contest that seeks to promote audiovisual production in university students.
Five first-year students of the Journalism and Audiovisual Communication degrees of the Catholic University of Murcia were the winners of the third edition of the EDUCLIPS awards for their SIRI-0% video, focused on the current hyperconnection to the network.
The winning video has been selected, out of a total of almost 40, with the votes of a professional jury - teachers representing the different Spanish universities participating in the contest - and another popular one.
The contest is framed in the Alfamed Network (Euro-American Interuniversity Network for Research in Mediatic Competencies for Citizenship), with the support of the I + D + I Project 'Citizen media competences in emerging digital media (smartphones and tablets): innovative practices and educommunicative strategies in multiple contexts', and of the 'Media Education Network' of the State Program of Scientific-Technical Research of Excellence.
The project has been coordinated by the professor of 'Fundamentals of Audiovisual Communication' of the UCAM, María del Mar Rodríguez, who assures that from the institution they support their students so that they develop external projects "that leave our university campus", and Allow them to demonstrate their extensive knowledge.
