Solidarity and the effort to raise awareness about the sustainable development goals of the United Nations are not incompatible with romanticism, and the Faculty of Economics and Business has seen today, Valentine's Day, a good example.
The corridors of the faculty have been filled with roses that have distributed members of the delegation of students to students, professors and administration and services personnel.
These are solidarity roses whose sale will allow collaborating with the projects of the NGOs that participate in the activities of the program 17 ODSions of the University of Murcia.
During the days 8,11 and 12 of February the members of the university community who wanted could buy roses and chocolates to entertain friends or any special person with whom they share the day to day in the faculty.
These supportive romantics left to the volunteers the signs of where their special person would be during Valentine's Day and throughout the morning they have been doing the distribution of details, which have left many smiling faces and have given a little color to the corridors of the center.
And everything, with a supportive background.
17 ODSesiones is the project of the University of Murcia aimed at disseminating and raising awareness about the 17 sustainable development goals that the United Nations set with the year 2030 as a horizon.
Until April 2021, the University will dedicate one month to each of these objectives with activities of all kinds designed to sensitize the university community and the entire society on these purposes.
The project has started this February with the objective 1: 'End of poverty'.
