The eleven partners of the `Mediats' project meet in Breda, which will enable the UCAM, the Netherlands Business Academy BV (Netherlands) and the Sia Biznesa Augstskola Turiba (Latvia) university to train seven universities in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine, so that they can implement their own Master's studies in mediation.
The researchers of Law, Canon Law and the Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility of the UCAM, together with the legal experts of the university institutions of the Netherlands and Latvia, will instruct, within the framework of the European principles of mediation, the universities of Khazar University (Azerbaijan), Ganja State University (Azerbaijan), Ilia State University (Georgia), Shota Rustaveli State University (Georgia), Krok University (Ukraine), VN Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine) and Chernivtsi National University Yury Fedkovych (Ukraine).
It is expected that during the 2020-2021 academic year, coinciding with the last phase of the project, European trainers supervise the development of degrees in each of the Eastern countries, in order to guarantee quality education, based on good European practices
The German NGO `Hultgren Nachhaltigkeitsberatung UG' will be the unit responsible for developing the project quality plan, in accordance with EU requirements.
