The University of Murcia hosts an exhibition of Reinaldo Ortega based on the portrait (08/02/2019)

The University of Murcia opens this Friday, February 8, the exhibition and installation 'The flash of the untransferable' of Reinaldo Ortega, which will take place in the room ES / UM of the campus of La Merced, at 20 hours.

In the opening ceremony will take place the musical performance of the duo of violins of the University Orchestra.

The sample consists of an open series of portraits and a steel cylinder as the center of the installation.

In the words of the artist, "through the portrait as an immediate action of documentation I seek to characterize the present".

"I consciously take advantage of the subjectivity proper to photography that captures the punctual expressiveness of the moment, but at the same time reveals a large number of possible readings," adds Ortega.

The exhibition can be visited until next March 8, from Monday to Friday, from 11 to 14 and from 18 to 20.30.
