The University of Murcia opens this Friday, February 8, the exhibition 'Troy: Love and War' by the painter Santi García and Charo Guarino, writer and professor at the UMU.
The act will take place in the general library María Moliner, at 12:30.
The exhibition shows paintings and writings through which both artists introduce the viewer, through time, into the Greek mythology of the Trojan War.
In the words of María José Cárceles, curator of the exhibition, "to contemplate the works of art of Santi García is to give form to epic poetry in all its apogee through an explosion of colors and nuances".
In addition, "each of the works is accompanied by beautiful and erudite words devised by Charo Guarino," he says.
The sample can be visited until March 4.
