The Councilor for Sport and Health, Felipe Coello, together with the Councilor for Social Rights and Development Cooperation, Conchita Ruiz, presented this morning the charity race in favor of the NGO 'Save The Children' organized by the CEI school and which will have place February 17.
In addition, a solidary check has been delivered to the children's NGO 'Save the Children', valued at more than 5,200 euros, raised thanks to the III charity race organized by the CEI school last year.
The fourth solidary edition will take place in the gardens and promenade of the Malecón starting at 10:00 am.
The competition will have two circuits, one for adults and one for children, and will be able to participate from children who have just started to walk, with the category of mini-benjamín, to the most veteran athletes in a circuit of 2,500 meters until completing the category of the 9 kilometers or the 4.5 kilometers.
"In this way, all residents of the municipality can spend a day with family and friends, doing sports and carrying out recreational activities, they are also collaborating with a charitable cause that will improve the quality of life of many children" said Felipe Coello
Athletes and fans from all over the Region will participate, as well as from other neighboring areas.
You can participate with a solidarity number, so that everyone can collaborate without running.
There will also be music, batucadas, soft drinks, snacks and entertainment in the march area.

The share of the absolute race and the athletic march (from Senior onwards) is 8 euros and both the children's race and the solidary march is 3 euros.
"We encourage all citizens to participate in this race, as this way you can help millions of children to enjoy their rights, breaking and overcoming many barriers" added Conchita Ruiz.
