Two weeks has been suspended the pediatric service in La Raya, Rincón de Seca, San Ginés, Era Alta and Nonduermas because the Murcian Health Service (SMS) has not covered the sick leave of the specialist doctor who passes consultation in these districts.
This has been denounced today by the councilor of Cambiemos Murcia, Margarita Guerrero, who has lamented that this lack has not been met, making it impossible for those who reside in those areas to have access to a public service such as health.
"These are basic services and, therefore, necessary." The Public Administrations have the obligation to solve this type of situation because we talk about the health of people, in this case the smallest, that is, a priority ", has added the mayor.
Guerrero recalled, in this sense, that in the plenary session of the Consistory numerous motions have been presented related to the lack of sanitary services in some places, especially in the districts, where approximately 60 percent of the population resides, especially as regards which refers to pediatrics, "which has also been cut in summer periods".
And precisely those proposals, approved mostly, were in the sense that the government team is vigilant to ensure access to these services that, while they are the responsibility of the Autonomous Community, directly influence the lives of the neighbors of the municipality.
