- Alicia Morales asks that the City adequately furnish furniture Espinardo municipal library, inaugurated by Ballesta in 2016
NOW MURCIA demands the creation of a municipal study hall in Espinardo, which is very necessary considering the number of inhabitants of the area and the proximity of numerous educational and university centers.
The vocal of the municipal formation in Espinardo, Sergio Pacheco, underlines that "there is no municipal study hall in the North zone of the city, for what it is needed to provide this service to the 11,756 inhabitants of Espinardo and to the 49,406 inhabitants of this zone".
Pacheco will present a motion in the morning plenary session of the municipal council of Espinardo to ask the City Council to install a 24-hour study room, "similar to the last one created in the municipality, Ronda Sur, both in physical conditions such as furniture. "
The vowel proposes that "the new facilities of the JC1 building, next to the municipal library" be considered for its location.
The Municipal Network of Study Rooms of Murcia (RMSEM), dependent and integrated into the services of the Municipal Library Network of Murcia (RMBM), seeks to offer an adequate space for the development of academic activities, whether regulated or not.
Currently there are, among others, those of Alquerías, Los Dolores, Los Martínez del Puerto, Sangonera la Seca, Sangonera la Verde, Torreagüera, Santo Ángel, Monteagudo, Cobatillas and the last one in Ronda Sur.
Sergio Pecheco points out "the numerous complaints received in the absence of the aforementioned facilities in Espinardo, since even the municipal study rooms that already exist, and especially the one closest to Espinardo, Ronda Sur, suffer from collapse situations."
Promises without complying with the municipal library
In addition to a motion in Espinardo, the demand for a municipal study hall for this parish has been registered by Ahora Murcia in the form of a request for the plenary session on Thursday.
The municipal training has also registered a request for the Town Council to appropriately furnish the municipal library of Espinardo with furniture.
Councilor Alicia Morales points out that the mayor Ballesta "inaugurated the new location of the library in the sports facilities JC1 in September 2016, but infradotada of equipment and furniture." From the moment of the inauguration, Ballesta promised on many occasions new resources for the library, which however they have never arrived. "
Morales criticizes "that all Murcia and Murcia suffer the scales of priorities of Mayor Ballesta, much more concerned about the projects 'magalomaniacos' and celebrations and celebrations that investment in areas that would actually improve the quality of life of citizens , although they are not so attractive for the publicity and the self-promotion of the PP ".
