The parish of Santa Eulalia de Murcia has everything organized for the celebration of Candelaria, next February 2.
In the 12:30 hour Mass, besides the presentation of the children to the Virgin, the blessing of the candles will take place.
At 5:30 p.m. there will be a procession through the streets of the neighborhood with the images of San Blas, San José and Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.
Also, there will be imposition of candles before and after the celebration of the Eucharist at 7:30 p.m.
On Sunday, February 3, the festivity of San Blas, the association of laryngectomized in the Region of Murcia and the otorrhinos, of which he is patron, will make an offering to this saint at the mass of 1:00 pm.
This day there will also be imposition of candles after each celebration (Masses will be at 10:00, 13:00, 18:00 and 19:30).
Festivities of Santa Eulalia
The liturgical celebration of the holder of this parish of Murcia, Santa Eulalia of Barcelona, ​​will be celebrated on February 12, although the parish community advances it to Sunday the 10th. On the occasion of the festivity, the mass of 1:00 p.m. at 12:00, after which there will be a procession with the image of the saint through the streets of the neighborhood.
The day before, on Saturday, February 9, there will be a day of parish coexistence, with prayers of Laudes, football championship and paella contest.
