The Cabezo de Torres Carnival is also promoted in Fitur, the largest tourism fair in Spain and one of the largest in the world, which takes place these days in Ifema Madrid.
This year, the poster of the Carnival of this hamlet of the municipality of Murcia represents a mural that was carried out by the Municipal Office of Graffiti directed by Rebeca Pérez from the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services and in collaboration with Ferrovial Services.
Responsible for the Municipal Office of Graffiti and more than 12 members of different groups of Carnival have traveled to Madrid to make known this party, its tradition and its roots.
"This fair is a great showcase for Murcia and our districts, we try to make known our history and all the events that represent us.This mural perfectly reflects the carnival feeling and we see how it has become icon of this party so recognized and loved for all its neighbors "said Rebeca Pérez.
The carnival feeling represented in 120 square meters
Last May, a large mural of 120 square meters was held.
The artists
Kraser, Pigüo, Nels and Mr. Chapu united their imagination and skill to capture a party so deeply rooted in this hamlet on a 10x12 meter wall.
The wall in which intervened is a dividing wall of the building in C / Community, next to the festival grounds and the Cabezo de Torres City Hall.
The free space left by the enclosure, makes the wall easily seen in the distance and from different angles.
An enclosure that, among its functions, is to house the tent where the party after the parades and the carnival groups and those attending it meet and continue.
The four artists have created with total freedom a design, in which the diversity of styles has been patent, and in which there is no shortage of references to the subject with great color and appropriate forms.
