- The granting of these exceptional authorizations has passed today, for the first time, by the Planning Commission.

a gas station in Sangonera La Seca, on undeveloped land;
and a parking lot next to Corvera airport
NOW MURCIA has highlighted the "abusive and unjustified" use of the municipal PP for exceptional authorizations for installations and activities for reasons of public interest.
The municipal formation took to the Plenary the past months of October and November motions relative to the excess of exceptional authorizations in non-urbanizable land granted by the City council, and of which there was no possibility of control on the part of the groups of the opposition.
"As a result of these motions," explains Angeles Micol, "the granting of these exceptional authorizations has passed today, for the first time, by the Urban Planning Commission, in the form of account disbursement. Murcia now denounced the past few months was true: that the municipal government of the PP was using abusively and inadequately the figure of exceptional authorizations, in order to legalize buildings and / or activities that following the ordinary channels would have no way of seeing the light".
Thus, today has been reported in the Planning Committee of 6 exceptional authorizations, "one of them has already desisted by allegations of an association, for ships in the garden, so there are five others."
Among them, Micol explains, "there is a canine training club, on undeveloped land, given the fact that it is already done and offering its services on the web".
Other files of applications for the processing of exceptional authorization that have been taken to the Planning Commission today have been "a gas station in Sangonera La Seca, on undeveloped land, and a parking lot next to Corvera airport."
Angeles Micol points out that "following the motions of Ahora Murcia on the exceptional authorizations, the opposition groups could no longer claim ignorance about the abuse of this exceptional procedure by the municipal government of the PP.Furthermore, from now on it will be much more difficult than continue abusing this path of legalization, which sometimes
it ends up becoming a way for covert legalizations.
From now on there will be more transparency, and the concession will be more rigorous. "
