The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, along with the president of the Nutribán Sociedad Atlética Alcantarilla, Lydia Sánchez, and Joaquín Soriano, president of the Trail Commission of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, presented this morning the IV Trail Majal Blanco Xtreme, which will take place next Sunday.
"In this way, it becomes one of the most anticipated appointments of the Regional Trail Calendar, it is a very good opportunity for all athletes who want to participate, we bet for healthy habits, for effort and personal improvement, in our municipality we have great athletes and we have to offer them alternatives and tests so that they can enjoy and compete "said Felipe Coello.
The test will have its output set on the Camino del Palmeral of Sangonera La Verde, specifically the esplanade of the Ermita de la Cruz, at 9:00 am.
It will have two distances in the field, of approximately 14 and 30 km, with the long distance being the 7th scoring round in the FAMU 2018/19 Trail Tour circuit on a mixed terrain circuit with a predominance of track and paths.
Around 500 athletes will participate, 350 in the 14 km and 250 in the 30 km.
Being a protected natural environment and in accordance with the guidelines of the Regional Park of El Valle-Carrascoy can not increase enrollment.
In addition to the sporting objectives, this test also brings awareness about the care of the environment.
The organization collaborates in the project of restoration and conservation of trails and reforestation according to the rules of the Regional Park.
The registration period for the appointment is still open, organized by the Nutribán Sociedad Atlética Alcantarilla, through Alcanza Tu Meta (http://www.alcanzatumeta.es/inscripcionp1.php?id=386871) until tomorrow
at 8:00 p.m. for card payments (TPV) or until the maximum number of participants is registered, with no late entries or the day of the competition.
The cost of the same is 15 euros for the race of 14km.
(12 euros for athletes with FAMU, ASSRM, ATRM license), being 20 euros for the 30km test (15 euros athletes with the mentioned licenses).
If the maximum number of participants is completed, a waiting list is established by strict order of request by sending an email to s.atletica_alcantarilla@hotmail.com and including the data of the interested party (name, surnames, date of birth, ID, federal license - in case of counting on her- and club).
The bibs can be collected at the Intersport store of the E. Leclerc Shopping Center (West Industrial Estate), on the afternoon of Friday 25 and Saturday 26 of January, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, as well as on Sunday in the Departure from 7:30 am.
It is necessary to show the DNI or an identity document for collection.
There will be trophies for the first three of the general, both in the male and female section, as well as the first three classified in each of the established categories.
In addition, all participants can enjoy a full bag of the broker.
