The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebeca Pérez and the Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, presented this morning, along with Francisco Javier Sánchez López, General Director of Youth, members of the Municipal Board of Cabezo de Torres, and Noemí Latorre, CEO of Holi Life Spain, the Holi Life that will be held next February 23.
The march of colors V Carnival Edition will leave from the esplanade behind the Sports Center of Cabezo de Torres, Rector Francisco Sabater street, at 18.00 hours and will last until midnight.
This year, the Holi Life color race returns with important novelties such as night time, with the special edition of Day & Night Carnival Edition or a Holi Land activity area.
Holi Land includes activities such as inflatable castles, foam cannons, hairdressing-makeup sessions, workshops or horror passage.
"This event is already becoming a mandatory appointment for all residents of the municipality, it is an event that adds fun and sports and this year presents more news for all attendees." Young people are not only the only participants, they also highlight the Families with children, groups of friends of different ages, "said Rebeca Pérez.
Participants will enjoy a five-kilometer tour with the incentive of a colored spot every 1,000 meters, from where colored powder will be thrown as the runners pass.
The Holi Life is not limited to a colorful race, before and after the course there will be collective launches of colored powder (Holi booms) and animation with music and dance from the stage, so that no one is left wanting to party.
As a novelty, this 2019 color race is accompanied by the Holi Land, a free zone for participants with different activities and experiences, which will make the event more enriching, such as inflatable castles, foam cannons, hairdressing-makeup sessions, workshops of tattoos, tiaras or a passage of terror.
The Holi powders used are approved for use in the European Union and are not toxic or allergic.
"It is a good opportunity to play sports in a team and with the family, in addition to enjoying music and color, it is also an opportunity to put on your shoes and walk 5 km" said Coello.
