The spokesman of the municipal group of Cambiemos Murcia, Nacho Tornel, said today that he hopes that the agreement of the City Council with 27 institutes of the municipality goes beyond the granting of subsidies and that it serves to turn these into "true youth centers".
For Tornel, it is an "opportunity" to promote the figure of the youth center in the neighborhoods and districts of the municipality and its activity around leisure, culture or sports, as well as strengthening the work of youth correspondents, that has opted to increase human and material resources.
"Making a youth center in each district is very expensive, but you can transform the secondary schools of each district into spaces dedicated to youth and work in a planned manner," he added the councilor of municipal training. He also regretted that the Minister of Education, Adela Martínez-Cachá, did not attend the signing of the agreement this morning.
"It is always there when it comes to supporting private schools, we would like it to be when it comes to public institutes," he added.
