Mario Gómez believes that the signing of agreements between the City Council and various environmental associations is nothing more than a smokescreen to cover its insufficient management, aggravated by the episode of air pollution in recent weeks and its inefficient protocol
The spokesman for Citizens, Mario Gomez, reminded José Ballesta today that "the City of Murcia has the human resources and sufficient economic and technical resources to implement, evaluate and review, if necessary, the protocols and strategies that, in of environment, have been drafted in recent years;
if it does not do so, it is solely due to a lack of political will. "
In relation to the agreements signed today by the City Council and various environmental associations, Gomez has expressed his satisfaction because "with this extension is guaranteed the continuity of agro-environmental, forestry, informative activities on municipal property, promoting renewable energy and advice for the creation and maintenance of school and family ecological gardens, among others. "
However, the spokesman 'orange' regretted that "the first mayor makes use of these agreements to make up their poor management in environmental matters, aggravated after the episode of air pollution of recent weeks and its ineffective protocol;
or the noise problem that the neighbors of the center are suffering ".
"From Cs we celebrate the continuity of the projects that these associations are developing in the municipality, actions that, in many cases, come out of the proposals formulated in plenary session for our training", highlighted Gómez, who, finally, has insisted on claiming the mayor of Murcia "act responsibly and carry out an immediate review of the protocol of action before episodes of air pollution to turn it into an effective tool capable of reversing this situation and return Murcia a municipality where you breathe an air with a admissible quality ".
