The University of Murcia has begun the campaign of informative talks in the Secondary schools with the aim that the future university students make an adequate choice of their higher education.
The first one took place this Monday at the IES Francisco Cascales, the center where the three venues of the University of Murcia were inaugurated.
These talks, aimed at students of the last Secondary courses, provide data on the degrees offered by the University of Murcia, the access systems or the limitation of places.
It also addresses information on practices and employability of graduates, as well as on the services and facilities offered by the University of Murcia in terms of attention to diversity, cultural activity, career guidance, research, sports, etc.
The initiative, fruit of a close collaboration with the guidance departments of the Secondary schools, has been carried out for several years.
Last year 137 centers were visited (126 in Murcia, 4 in Albacete, 6 in Alicante and one in Almería) in which a total of 152 talks were offered, with a scope of approximately 9000 students.
The deadline for requesting these talks at the centers ends on February 23, 2019. Requests must be made by telephone at 868 883 017 from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
