The public prices of the credits of the masters that gives the University of Murcia have descended this course, allowing that the matriculation for those who realize these studies has lowered more than two hundred euros, according to the official data published by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
This decrease is the result of the conversations held with the Autonomous Community last summer and which led to the reduction of fees for postgraduate studies from both the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
In particular, the prices have been reduced by 11 percent compared to last year in the master's degrees, both enabling and non-enabling;
a reduction in prices that reached 15 percent in the master's degrees of the disciplines called STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and in bilinguals.
The Ministry has made public the statistics of public prices in Spanish universities, a document that reflects this decline in enrollment in the Region of Murcia.
In the qualifying masters, those who must compulsorily attend students of certain degrees to be able to practice their professions, the average price of the credit has fallen by 3.73 euros.
Taking into account that a master's course, in general, has 60 credits, the reduction in this case amounts to 223 euros on average.
Regarding non-habilitative master's degrees, the reduction was of 4.45 euros on average, which in an enrollment of 60 credits increases the savings compared to last year to an average of 267 euros.
The final price of a master's degree depends not only on whether the studies are qualifying or non-qualifying, but also on the number of credits and the level of experimentation that is attributed to the studies.
