Murcia and Genoa have a twinning agreement in which they have been working together for just over a year and in this area the official reception held this morning in the Plenary Hall of the City Council took place.
The event, chaired by the mayor of the city, José Ballesta, has counted with the presence of members of the Genoa Football Club team.
In particular, the coach, Cesaré Prandelli, Team manager Marco Pellegri, team captain, Mimmo Criscito, and center forward Krzysztof Piatek, have attended these days, due to the fact that several great European teams, the likes of Real Madrid, may be interested in your signing.
On the part of the City Council, the councilors of Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, and of Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco have also been present.
The Italian team is concentrated in San Pedro del Pinatar, in Pinatar Arena, to prepare the second part of the league campaign.
The Genoa Football Club was the first football team founded in Italy in 1893.
Currently Murcia shares with Genoa more than a common history of merchants.
They are carrying out joint promotional actions with European funds.

Through their plan to recover "the genovesity in the world" have laid a bridge connecting with our city to strengthen the link between the two cities, improve knowledge and joint learning and developing interventions, with the help of European funding, in different areas, such as technical-institutional, social, cultural and economic.
