This weekend the new study hall of Ronda Sur will be put into operation in advance to be available to young people during the exam period.

It will begin to serve with 60 positions, and will be expanded to 242 positions when the newly awarded furniture is installed.

On Friday, starting at 11.00 am, the hand-over will begin in the same room (for those who have opted for this method) of the access cards to the room, located at Paseo de Florencia, 48.

Both on Friday and Saturday mornings, staff from the Municipal Network of Study Rooms will give the cards and will answer any doubts that may arise about access to the room or any other issue.

His presence will be extended to Saturday, the 12th, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and from that hour, the installation will be free for its use by the users.

The application for cards, as well as more detailed information, is available on the web at salasestudio.rmbm.org.

Schedule extension

On the other hand, the Department of Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage has foreseen the extension of the schedule during the weekends to facilitate the study in period of exams in nine libraries of the Municipal Network from January 12 to 27, which make a total of 646 positions.

These libraries will serve outside of their usual schedule (they can be consulted on the web rmbm.org), as has been done in recent years:

1. SATURDAYS, FROM 9.30 am to 13.30 pm:

- El Raal Library.

2. SATURDAY, FROM 9.00-19.30 H:

- Espinardo Library.

- San Basilio Library.

3. SUNDAYS FROM 9.30-13.30 H:

- Beniaján Library.

- Cabezo de Torres Library.

- Pelagio Ferrer Library, El Palmar.

- Library La Alberca.

- Río Segura Library.

- Tocinos Bridge Library.

The Municipal Network of Study Rooms of Murcia, meanwhile, offer students their facilities 7 days a week for 24 hours.

The current study rooms are:

1. Alquerías Municipal Study Room.

2. Los Dolores Municipal Study Hall.

3. Los Martínez del Puerto Municipal Study Room.

4. Sangonera la Seca Municipal Study Room.

5. Sangonera la Verde Municipal Study Room.

6. Municipal Study Hall & Youth Associations Torreagüera.

7. Study Rooms with specific hours in Cultural Centers:

• Monteagudo Municipal Study Room.

• Santo Ángel Municipal Study Room.
