The children and young people from five schools and the Bacons Bridge Institute have decorated the gardens of the district with Christmas decorations using recycled material (boats, milk cartons, etc.), all kinds of objects with which to beautify their town. sustainable way.

This initiative arose from an invitation made by the Municipal Board so that each Educational Center carried out at its free choice the decoration of a town square or garden and had an answer.

Before the waste of lights that these days are lavished by many streets of the city, they have decided to leave their creative footprint to brighten all public spaces by using imagination and a few resources.

With this activity the youngsters and children of Puente Tocinos are giving a real social lesson, because they try to raise awareness in society that all neighborhoods can be brightened in an ecological way, avoiding energy consumption.

Christmas for gender equality and against gender violence

The AMPAS of the Educational Centers have actively participated in the coordination, which at the time agreed that the predominant color this Christmas would be violet.
