The Municipal Office of the Bicycle, dependent of the Department of Urbanism, Environment, Water and Vegetable Garden, directed by Antonio Navarro, and the Office of Graffiti, attached to the area of ​​Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, managed by Rebeca Pérez, in collaboration with Ferrovial Servicios, he has carried out artistic interventions in the 17 closed car parks located in different points of our city.
This initiative, which has been carried out by different local artists, has consisted of turning these closed parking lots into canvases for new works of art.
In total, 8 parkings Mobisec model and 9 of the Grande model have been decorated by 10 different artists, where each of them has worked in a free way to shape their style and with a nod to the awareness of sustainable mobility, and the future .
With this intervention the Municipal Office of the Bicycle aims to improve the image of its infrastructures while sending messages that raise awareness among the population in the maintenance of the environment.
For its part, the Office of Graffiti has helped to value and transform these spaces to become places where you can enjoy the talent of local artists in the city.
