[History repeats itself.

The UCAM Murcia CB falls to Real Madrid (80-74) after doing a nearly perfect second half]

The thirds of the UCAM Murcia traveled to the Community of Madrid to face the current champion of the Endesa League.

Real Madrid (9V 3D) looked to return to the path of victory in the national competition after the defeat last weekend against Breogán.

The university students (5V 6D) wanted to give the surprise in a field where they had not managed to win so far.

Javi Juarez returned to the capital to face the club where he had been training in recent years.

Kloof, Oleson, Rojas, Rudez and Tumba formed the starting quintet of the Murcian team.

With the "Facu" Campazzo and Carroll very intoned from the beginning of the game, Real Madrid got the first advantages of the match (14-4).

Only Kloof, with two consecutive baskets, managed to score for a UCAM Murcia that was making a great defense.

The intimidation of Tavares under the hoops complicated the role of the visiting inside game.

Neither Delia nor Tomb could with the Cape Verdean pivot.

However, the entry of Soko and Doyle allowed Murcia to increase the intensity in defense and reduce the differences in a room where the local turnovers (8) and the low percentage of visitors (4/20) marked the final result (18-8).

The second partial began with two consecutive triples of the Madrid team.

Trey Thompkins (11 points), executioner of the university students last season, went out on track with the oiled artillery and allowed the locals to go beyond the ten advantage.

However, the contribution of Urtasun in attack (9 points) made his team react and forced Pablo Laso to call timeout (34-26).

The whole of Madrid had minimized the losses in this second quarter with Llull as game director.

Finally, with Tavares as owner and master of the painting, Laso's team went 12 up (42-30) after the first twenty minutes of play.

The poor shooting percentages of the visiting team from the line of three (2/13) made it difficult to achieve greater equality on the scoreboard.

Soko premiered the local ring with a spectacular mate after passing through locker rooms.

He and Charllo Kloof had come out with the knife between their teeth and the difference was reduced to 5 points.

However, as in the first period, fouls hindered the chances of a UCAM Murcia that entered the bonus quickly.

Booker, excellent in the direction of play, allowed the university team to get fully into the fight for the game.

A partial 16-26 in the third quarter left the match in a fist (58-56) with ten minutes left to play.

The last challenge began in the best way for the visitors, who managed to force the fourth personal foul of the giant Cape Verdean Tavares.

Two consecutive basket of Askia Booker (14 points) put UCAM Murcia up on the scoreboard for the first time in the match with 6:30 left in the final.

The American base was in a state of grace and forced Laso to stop the game (63-67).

However, the current European champion increased the defensive intensity and, with the help of a great Thompkins (19 points), returned to level the match.

The match reached the last two minutes with maximum equality.

A basket of Booker was answered with a triplazo of Llull that put Real Madrid three up.

Finally, UCAM Murcia defeat by 80-74 against Real Madrid in a great match of Javi Juárez.

Booker (18 points and 18 points) and Urtasun (11 points and 13 marks) the best in the Murcian team.
