Lines are being separated by zones and decreasing the degree of charge of each electric line.
Iberdrola continues to monitor the network in that area daily
The City of Murcia, through the Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, which directs Rebeca Pérez met a few days ago with the president of the municipal district East, Rafael Gómez and Iberdrola Maintenance Technician, Rubén Sáez and the head of the Brigade, maintenance and distribution, Jesús Ruiz, to finalize a solution on the supply cuts that take place in the La Paz polygon.
In this way, the City of Murcia urged Iberdrola to implement various actions to solve power outages that significantly affect the residents of a neighborhood of more than 1,500 homes.
For this reason, Iberdrola has made a new distribution of loads, which minimizes the problems of the neighbors and prevents new power cuts in La Paz.
The first intervention that has been carried out is in the Transformation Center of the area (Chaconsa), with a new stretch of network and the second on line 2, between another Transformation Center in the area (Maluquer), with a new stretch of network with more than 60 meters.
These two actions will allow to separate the lines by zones and decrease the degree of charge of each electric line.
Iberdrola continues to monitor the network in that area on a daily basis.
"The problem is identified, and we are already taking the right steps and acting consistently and urgently, and even more so in these dates where considerable temperature drops are expected" remarked Rebeca Pérez
These two lines of action are based on the fact that the latest incidents, which have increased since the end of November, are grouped to a greater extent in 2 Transformation Centers, specifically in the low voltage lines 01 of the CT Polygon La Paz 1 as well as in line 05 of the CT Polygon La Paz 2 respectively.
Since January, Iberdrola has made a battery of investments in the neighborhood that exceeds 25,000 euros to strengthen the lines and replace fuses, acting and resuming the supply in 1 or 2 hours from the fall of it.
In addition, they ensure that the power and existing infrastructure is adequate.
