Ensures that "there is no social policy without a good economic policy, so we allocate almost one million euros a day to help those who need it most"
The president of the Popular Party of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, has set, among its priorities, the improvement of the Welfare State for one and a half million Murcians, and has stated that "it is working better than ever."
This has reaffirmed before the more than 400 members and supporters who have attended the Christmas dinner of the PP of Murcia, which has also attended the mayor of the city, José Ballesta.
"Both the Popular Party and the government that I preside we like to solve the problems of the people," said Lopez Miras, who has qualified that "we must persevere and not stop the fight to improve the Welfare State."
In this regard, he stressed that "the budgets that we voted on this Friday in the regional Assembly support it".
The president has asserted that "there is no social policy without a good economic policy" and explained that "we allocate one million euros a day to help those who need it most".
He also added that the provision for Basic Income Insertion increases to reach 20 million euros that will go to families who do not earn income.
"The Region of Murcia has 2019 with the largest budget in its history to advance Health, Education and Social Services," stressed the regional president of the PP, who has detailed the firm commitment of the PP "to ensure public health and a universal and free education ".
Thus, he explained that the Government of the Popular Party has included in the 2019 budget the free schooling of children up to three years in all Community Nursery Schools, "which will initially benefit more than 1,000 families as of 1 January".
"The PP has a rigorous and credible budget that guarantees the Welfare State for all Murcia, others make proposals without explaining how they will pay," he concluded.
