The University of Murcia commemorates this Friday, December 21, the centenary of the appointment as rector of José Lostau, who was in charge of the institution in two long periods between 1918 and 1939.
As a commemoration of this anniversary, a plaque will be discovered on the façade of the Antonio Nebrija library, in the La Merced Campus.
The event will be chaired by the rector, José Luján, and by the mayor of the city of Murcia, José Ballesta.
Alfonsa García Ayala, president of the Lostau Rector Museum and dean of Biology, and descendants of Lostau will also attend.
The discovery of the plate will be at 17.30 hours on the back facade of the Antonio Nebrija library.
