The cadets and juvenile Murcia will measure their forces against the selections of Ceuta and Catalonia, in the soccer field of Churra.
The Improvement Plan of the Municipal Football Fields, composed of a total of 42 facilities, includes the extension and replacement of the lawn in Churra and the construction of new changing rooms in San José de la Vega and Los Ramos, Corvera, Sangonera la Verde and The Dry.
The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, along with the councilor of Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, and the president of the Regional Football Federation, José Miguel Monje, today presented the preliminary phase of the Spanish Championship of Autonomous National Teams that is celebrated this December in Murcia, organized by the Regional Football Federation, with the collaboration of the City of Murcia.
The municipality will host, from 27 to 29 December, the celebration of the Championships of Spain of selections sub-16 (cadet) and sub-18 football (youth), which will be played in the municipal field of Churra.
The group is formed by the selections of Ceuta, Catalonia and Murcia.
The mayor José Ballesta said that "in this football field of Churra are going to give appointment to young promises, the future of Spanish football, players who, surely, will soon be in the Spanish National Team".
José Ballesta also reported on the upcoming expansion of the playing surface of the Churra football field.
The Department of Sports and Health will replace the artificial turf, extending it to dimensions of 90mX55m, which would house two football fields 7, perpendicular to the football field 11.
The action will involve an investment of 270,000 euros, with a deadline of three months.
"It already has the economic endowment and is going to tender in the coming weeks," said the mayor.
This project is part of the Improvement Plan of the Municipal Football Fields, made up of a total of 42 facilities, through which thousands of players from the different Soccer Schools and teams of the municipality pass daily.
The Plan also contemplates the installation in the fields of San José de la Vega and Los Ramos, which are currently land, new artificial turf, as well as the construction of new changing rooms.
The fields of Corvera, Sangonera la Verde and Sangonera La Seca will also benefit from new changing rooms.
The parties
The Cadet team, directed by David Jávega, will face on the 27th, at 10.00, the selection of Ceuta, while at 12.00, both selections will be measured in the youth category.
On the 28th there will be a rest for the Murcian team and the teams will face Ceuta against Catalonia, at 10.00 the cadets will do it and at 12.00 the youth teams.
The 29th day will be the last day between the Murcia and Catalonia teams.
The cadets will play at 10.00 and at 12.00 it will be the turn of David Bascuñana's team.

Two companies in the Region have opted for these two championships.
These are Cementos LaCruz and Gesa Mediación, which has been promoting sports for over twenty years.
In the soccer modality, it sponsors the EDMF Churra, the EMF of Fuente Álamo, CF Huércal-Overa (Almería), Colmenar CF and CD Casa Bermeja (Málaga).
