The works to install shading in the garden area of ​​the Infanta Cristina de Aljucer Street Garden have received authorization today from the Governing Board.
The agreement adopted, on the proposal of the Department of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, directed by José Guillén, involves the contracting of the project with the UTE Forum San Patricio SA-Tecosureste SL with a budget of 14,991 euros and a deadline of two months.
The action that will be carried out consists of the demolition of existing flooring and the execution of the foundation where the shade structure will be placed that will be tensioned sail type and that will be of a network fabric of high resistance polyethylene yarn.
In this way, work continues to bring shade to all areas of children's play in neighborhoods and districts, and in addition to others installed in recent months in the Garden of Three Cups, Fofó Park or children's playground Calle Sol de Torreagüera, among other locations.
Over the past three years, the City Council has promoted a plan to install innovative shade systems in parks and gardens so that children can play during the hottest months, protected from solar radiation and high temperatures.
