The Governing Board today approved the bidding rules to promote the restoration of facades of civil buildings of private ownership and use, the exterior rehabilitation of religious and religious buildings and other buildings for collective use, as well as the structural rehabilitation of buildings cataloged as BIC, grade 1 and 2.
One of the main novelties of this new call, promoted by the Department of Urban Planning, Environment, Water and Garden, directed by Antonio Navarro, is the increase in the amount that can be subsidized, which goes from the 50% limit of the cost to 75 %.
Likewise, the actions and buildings benefited have been extended.
Until now, it included the rehabilitation of the façade but, in the bases approved today, it also includes the structural arrangement of buildings classified as BIC in grade 1 and 2, for their special interest in protection and conservation for the municipality.
The third novelty consists in the elimination of the possible causes of exclusion of the subsidy, the requirement that the building was totally or partially uninhabited by more than 40%, on the understanding that this measure meant leaving buildings outside of the aid that due to their heritage relevance -cultural should be the subject of these funds.
In this way, the owners of cataloged and uncatalogued buildings, located in the historic-artistic site, those included in the catalog of buildings and protected elements, buildings with collective equipment, the cataloged or deteriorated facades of traditional buildings, can attend these grants. of the garden with any use and an age greater than 100 years.
So will the constructions that, in the opinion of the technical committee, gather some historical, environmental or architectural interest.
Holders of these properties may submit their applications within 30 calendar days following the publication of the BORM bases.
The maximum amount of the amount of aid granted will amount to 194,169 euros.
