In total there will be 14 trips and for the first time, one of them, will allow young people to spend the night in Sierra Nevada
The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebeca Pérez presented this morning with the General Director of Youth, Fran Sánchez, the "Murcia Bajo Cero Region" program and the travel calendar that will take place until the end of March.
One more year, the regional program "Murcia Bajo Cero" is launched and allows more than 700 young people in the region to practice sports in the snow.
Young people from 14 to 36 years old who can practice snow sports in the ski resorts of Sierra Nevada and Formigal.
"From the City Council we join this initiative to offer young people of the municipality alternatives of leisure and free time, it is an ideal opportunity to practice sports and meet other young people of the Region of Murcia" said Rebeca Pérez.
In total, 14 trips have been scheduled, four more than last year, and for the first time, it offers a combined two-day option, combining cultural tourism and sports.
In this way a total of 700 places are offered, with a dozen activities in the snow that can be enjoyed in the ski resorts of Sierra Nevada, in Granada and Formigal, in the Aragonese Pyrenees.
In total there are 14 scheduled experiences that will come from 15 municipalities: Abarán, Alcantarilla, Archena, Bullas, Cartagena, Cehegín, Jumilla, Lorca, Los Alcázares, Mazarrón, Murcia, Puerto Lumbreras, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and Yecla.
A total of fourteen trips for skiing or snowboarding are scheduled in the Sierra Nevada, with six trips a day "Do not Think About It, Snow" with a price of 61 euros;
two combined trips "La Nieve Mola, Granda also" with an overnight stay, with one day tour to the Alhambra and another to practice sports activities in Sierra Nevada, for 124 euros;
four trips "Nieve Too Much" with two overnight stays and two days of skiing in Sierra Nevada, for 169 euros;
and two five-day trips, one to Formigal, "Snow Trip, El Viaje" in the Aragonese Pyrenees and the "Snowvieja, this is the night" in Sierra Nevada, Granada, from 279 euros.
The departures for the day trips to Sierra Nevada will be on December 26, January 19, February 2 and 17 and March 2 and 17.
The two-day trips are scheduled for December 26 and 27 and March 23 and 24, while the three-day trips will be December 21, 22 and 23, February 8, 9 and 10 and February 22, 23 and 24 and March 8, 9, 10.
Finally, two trips of five days that will be the days 28, 29, 30 of December of 2018 and January 1 of 2019, in Sierra Nevada, and the 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of February in the ski resort of Formigal in the Aragonese Pyrenees.

Activities for skiing or snowboarding include roundtrip bus transportation, "ski pass", unlimited ski lifts and rescue insurance and runway assistance.
Also, optionally, the material and two hours of class are included in groups and for all levels.
