The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, attended this morning the placement of the Tourist Quality Commitment plaque, to the Pan Moreno establishment, located at Jara Carrillo Street, 7, next to the College of Architects.
The SICTED, Integral System of Tourist Quality in Destinations, is a project to improve the quality of tourist destinations with the aim of improving the experience and satisfaction of tourists.
The distinctive Tourism Quality Commitment accredits companies and services that meet quality standards recognizes the effort and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Murcia has been a SICTED destination for twelve years, in which important efforts have been made to extend and consolidate the quality culture, carrying out an intense work of sensitization and training of the agents involved, both in the public and private spheres.
Currently in Murcia there are 103 companies and distinguished services with the Commitment of Tourist Quality brand.

Murcia was present at the XV SICTED Forum "Quality, a lever of competitiveness and tourism sustainability, held in Valencia in November.
In addition, the Secretary of State for Tourism shortlisted Murcia within the IX Edition of the SICTED 2018 Awards, in the category SICTED Best Destination and Best Improvement Project, in safe trade and how to act in emergency situations.
Local Police and the Civil Protection Service carry out a work of advice, protection and service to citizens and especially to tourists, hence the importance of having their collaboration so that together we are the best hosts in the city and Murcia is a safe destination, a quality destination.
Tourism security is a key variable in the assessment of demand, and in the competitiveness of the tourist destination.
In this way we give visibility to their work in the protection and advice to tourists that our city receives, making them feel more safe and cared for during their stay in our municipality.
