On December 19, at 8:00 p.m., the photographer from Murcia, Mar Sáez, will exhibit her work on the Santa Eulalia neighborhood at El Jardín de los Dragones.
Under the name of 'Miradas', the new experience of Murcia Inspira and Cervezas Alhambra focuses on documentary photography.
Every three months, 'Miradas' will select a local photographer who will go through different areas and emblematic neighborhoods of Murcia, trapping the life of traditional businesses, markets, churches, squares, bars, terraces and, of course, the look of their neighbors.
The first exhibition will open on December 19, at 8:00 pm, at the restaurant El Jardín de los Dragones.
Admission will be free until all seats.
In this first edition, the photographer Mar Sáez stops her gaze in the Barrio de Santa Eulalia.
During a generous period of time the artist has been involved in the neighborhood, knowing its people, its architecture, its intricacies ... So it has taken the captures that describe the essence of this central and well-known neighborhood of the city of Murcia.
At the opening of 'Miradas' the artist will tell how this experience has been and will relate what their photographs consist of.
The exhibition can be visited until February 19, 2019.
'Miradas' links Murcia photographers with a background in documentary photography to the future of life in the city.
The proposal of Cervezas Alhambra, which invites you to stop looking and observe in detail what the immediacy of everyday life prevents you from appreciating, puts the focus on the everyday to know it in depth and connect people with their environment.
The photographs, like the creations of the master brewers, are the result of knowledge and passion, are unique conceptions of the reality that surrounds us and that sometimes goes unnoticed before our eyes.
To close the calendar, 'Miradas' will hold a closing exhibition that will collect the images of the three previous exhibitions in a singular space of the city.
An event that will gather the photographers of Murcia and all their followers, always by the hand of Cervezas Alhambra.
Murcia Inspira materializes in an extensive mosaic of proposals around the cultural wealth of Murcia and its latent talent, and will discover other ways of looking at and doing things from the sensibility, giving room to local emerging artists who link tradition and avant-garde , that value the artisan from a contemporary perspective.
Also rediscover corners of Murcia seen under another prism, creating intimate moments, away from the crowd, allowing you to stop and enjoy the details calmly.
