Mario Gómez: "It is the exclusive responsibility of the local government, not the Municipal Boards, to invest in new infrastructures that guarantee a quality public education"

The spokesman for Citizens, Mario Gómez, regrets that Ballesta and his team continue to evade their responsibility in the maintenance and repair of schools in the municipality.

"They are shirking their responsibility as a local government, transferring to the municipal boards investments that are neither of their competence nor have resources to carry them out," he lamented.

In this way, Gomez has made reference to the demand made by the Municipal Board of Bacons Bridge, at the request of the educational community of CEIP Pintor Pedro Flores, "to fix the leaks caused by the recent rains in several areas of the center, as well as the elimination of asbestos cover that constitutes a huge risk for students and workers, aggravated by the appearance of leaks and the consequent detachment of particles of this material harmful to health ".

Likewise, he continued, "Councilman Rafael Gómez, instead of assuming his responsibility and demanding that the Education Council also meet the demand, launches the order to the Municipal Board to carry it out knowing that it is not competent nor does he have resources for it. "

"It is not an isolated case, it is the current modus operandi of the Government of Ballesta: I wash my hands as if it were not my competence and I transfer the problem to the Municipal Board so that it can resolve it knowing that they can not", has denounced the spokesman 'orange'.
