The Garden of the Malecón will host next Saturday the First Ecuadorian GastroCultural Festival, which is celebrated coinciding with the commemoration of the International Migrant's Day.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility with its Consulate of Ecuador in Murcia, as an integration event in tribute to the migrant.
This was explained this morning by the councilors of Commerce and Institutional Relations, Maruja Pelegrín, and Social Rights and Development Cooperation, Conchita Ruiz, accompanied by the Consul of Ecuador in Murcia, Daniel Peñaranda, and the representative of the Association of Ecuadorian Chefs in Spain, Miguel Ángel Pérez.
Within the framework of this celebration, and considering that the Region of Murcia for several years has hosted approximately 48,000 Ecuadorian citizens, it is expected that more than 2,000 people attend this First Ecuadorian GastroCultural Festival, which will take place from 12 noon to 9 pm .
The event will feature stands oriented to the information of the consular services, gastronomic fair, Ecuadorian artistic festival, space for children, etc.
Specifically, participants can enjoy dances and folklore, Ecuadorian food, games of yesteryear (tops, marbles, yoyós, etc.)
