The municipal services work in the extension of the current contract, while the new tender is resolved.
Twenty companies that have submitted to the tender to obtain the contract for the conservation, maintenance and restoration services of the gardens, trees of alignment, medians and roundabouts of the municipality of Murcia, as well as the necessary supplies promoted by the City Council, through the Department of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, directed by José Guillén.
The winning company will be responsible for reviewing and homologation of all the children's games in the municipality every two years, and a major renovation of garden furniture, which will also expand sources, shade system and playgrounds will be protected from integral and adapted form.
In addition, it will mean the greatest transformation of the green areas of the municipality, encouraging all Murcia to its greatest use and enjoyment.

One contract, seven lots
For the execution of the contract object, it is distributed in the following lots:
Lot 1: Maintenance, conservation and restoration of municipal green areas and alignment trees of the Municipality of Murcia.
The awardees will have a minimum workforce of 188 workers.
The candidate companies are Valoraiza Servicios Medioambientales, SA - Hermanos Gregorio Barrancos SL, Spanish Public Services Company Auxiliares, SA, Urbaser SA, Licuas SA, Orthem Servicios y Actuaciones Medioambientales SAU, Alvac-Aquaterra-Napal, Urdemasa, Acts Services and Environment SL and STV Gestión SL
Lot 2: Maintenance, conservation and restoration of medians and roundabouts.
The awardees will have a staff equivalent to 22 workers.
The candidates for lot 2 are: Actúa Servicios y Medio Ambiente SL, STV Gestión SL, Audeca SLU, Licuas SA, Urbaser SA, Orthem Services and Actuaciones Ambientales SAU
Lot 3: Maintenance, conservation and restoration of lakes and ornamental fountains.
The awardees will have a staff equivalent to 17 workers.
The companies that have presented themselves are: Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios - Construcciones Juan Gregorio, STV Gestion, SL, Aquambiente Services for the Water Sector SAU, Socamex SAU, Eulen SA and Actua Servicios y Medio Ambiente SL
Lot 4: Supply of flower plants for replenishments in green areas, medians and roundabouts.
The companies that are candidates for the allocation of this lot are: Actua Servicios y Medio Ambiente SL and Jesús Gutiérrez Sierra.
Lot 5: Supply of materials for garden renovations.
The companies that have presented themselves are: Materials and Corporate Services, Turmur España SL
Lot 6: Supply of furniture for garden renovations.
The company that has demanded this lot is Ludomaquina SL
Lot 7: Master Plan of the trees, has as candidates to Eulen SA and Tecnigral SL
For the first time, this contract is mixed, so that renovation, restoration and supplies activities linked to the conservation areas will also be carried out and it will also be the first large municipal contract in which all the implementation of Technologies will be compatible with the MiMurcia smart city platform.
The specifications, which have been designed and drafted by the Parks and Gardens service with the aim of improving and modernizing the green areas, parks and gardens, foresees a budget of 58,997,161.40 euros.
