The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, along with councilmen Maruja Pelegrín and Jesús pacheco, and the president of the Carmelite Merchants Association, Juan Antonio García, inaugurated this morning the 6th Carmelite Commerce White Christmas Fair, a place to enjoy in family located in the Artillery Barracks, with ice rink, sleigh descent, carousel, Christmas train and the House of Santa Claus.
The objective of this fair, which has established itself as one of the most popular events in Christmas Murcia, is to boost the small shops and traditional shops of the Carmen district and, at the same time, attract a large flow of visitors to this space for leisure and fun for the whole family, with the support of the Department of Commerce of the City of Murcia.
José Ballesta highlighted "the wide program of free cultural activities offered by the fair this year" and thanked "the effort and innovation capacity of the Carmelite merchants, who return to the neighborhood what they receive from him and fill this environment with joy and vitality. during the Holidays. "
He also indicated that this year the Fair has coincided with the rehabilitation works of Pavilions 1 and 2 of the Artillery Barracks.
In addition to the popular 500 m2 ice rink, another of the most successful attractions is the artificial snow mountain for pneumatic sled descents, which also allows the participation of parents and children together in double sledges.

The Fair extends this year its program of free cultural activities aimed at the whole family, with concerts and performances during all the parties.
