The Municipal Office of Graffiti held on Saturday the Urban Art workshops, organized by the Department of Social Rights and Development Cooperation, led by Conchita Ruiz.
Fifty young people, who belong to the project 13 - 17 for adolescents of the City Council, gathered on Saturday at the Plaza del Jardín de la Seda.
Throughout the morning a group of young people were commissioned to decorate the columns of this square, while another group made a guided tour of the murals of the Fremm.
This initiative, promoted by the City Council, the Municipal Office of Graffiti and Ferrovial Services, has been carried out throughout the academic year with workshops held in three sessions, the first on awareness among art or vandalism, the second on techniques and notions of graffiti and the third on practices in the street.
All these sessions have been taught by local artists, who regularly collaborate with the Municipal Office of Graffiti.
During these workshops almost a hundred young people from all over the municipality participated.
On Saturday, diplomas were also given to each participant in these workshops and a live mural was held in homage to the rights of children.
