The UCAM has hosted the last day of the UCAM Refresh Week, cultural event that is part of the European Refresh project, which has been attended by more than fifty artists framed in more than twenty activities held inside and outside the Campus of Los Jerónimos throughout the week.
The event was closed by A. Pablo Cano, director of OPRI, accompanied by the General Director of the European Union, External Action and Cooperation, Manuel Pleguezuelo, and the coordinator of the Refresh project, Mateja Hafner.
Manuel Pleguezuelo stressed in his speech that "heritage is not just art, culture or music, it is also the Mediterranean diet, how we live how we celebrate, and this is how the UCAM is collecting this event".
The Queen de la Huerta and her court also attended the last day of this cultural week, which took place among other activities a display of grand pianos given by Klavier, choreographies of different musical styles by the Degree in Dance or traditional games made by the Peñas Huertanas Federation of Murcia.
Also part of this cultural event is the ArtMur sculpture and painting exhibition, which can be visited in the cloister and Exhibition Hall of the Los Jerónimos Campus until December 10.
