The Government Board yesterday gave the green light to the granting of a grant to the Platform for the Promotion of Volunteering of the Region of Murcia, for an amount of 6,000 euros, for the development of the project 'Annual Work Plan 2018'.

This grant is intended for the development of activities to promote volunteering, information, training and social awareness by this entity.

The project includes a series of actions that are reflected in: maintenance of the Office of Information to the Citizenship in the field of volunteering, informative campaigns of the celebration of the International Volunteer Day and participation in volunteer fairs, as well as conferences.

It is also going to carry out the edition of the newsletter `Volunteer ', volunteer training, the edition of the papers of the'II Regional Congress of Volunteering' and coordination with the Platform of the third sector, volunteering in Spain and advice from citizen participation of the municipality of Murcia.
