The International Chair of CSR of the UCAM has gathered this morning to 40 companies and professionals in the days of the project to promote CSR in the Region of Murcia.
The session took place in the assembly hall of the Ministry of Employment, Universities, Business and Environment with the presentation of Víctor Meseguer and Francisco Martínez Ruiz
Sustainability, regulatory environment and competitiveness are the main issues addressed in the day in the presence of a group of businessmen and professionals from the Region of Murcia.
Jaime Sánchez-Vizcaíno, vice-dean of Law of the UCAM, Marian Cascales, of the Inquivisa Group and Alfonso Rosique, of Bankia, attended the conference.
Also present were representatives from the HEFAME Foundation, Alía Economía, Aguas de Murcia, Hidrogea, MAPFRE, Telefónica, Hospital Mesa del Castillo, AMUSAL, Caja Mediterráneo Foundation, AVALAN, RSC Creativa, among others.
The speakers debated how the use of CSR is a key factor in the competitiveness of the company, as well as the present and future of this, the regulatory environments and their contribution of social value to the income statement.
The purpose of this project, promoted by the Regional Government and the Chair of the UCAM, is to make small and medium enterprises, citizens, and the public administrations of the Region aware of CSR, and find support to integrate it into their model of business management.
