The Local Police will continue without sanction until January 11 to vehicles that access the section of Alfonso X that has already been remodeled, between the intersection of Jaime I and Santo Domingo.
Although the measure was initially to conclude tomorrow, December 1, the Councilor for Traffic, Security and Citizen Protection, Lola Sanchez, has signed this morning a decree to extend the deadline until January 11, thus allowing the Christmas holidays to pass .
In this way, the City Council intends to increase the opportunities for all drivers to know the restrictions on access to the promenade, where a license plate reader will monitor that only residents and workers in the area with a garage can access.
As of January 11, cars that circulate in the area and are not registered in the municipal files will be fined.
