The University of Murcia hosts the II International Congress 'History and videogames', which will take place from November 28 to 30 at the Faculty of Literature Campus de la Merced.
The interest in the analysis of how video games affect the historical discipline, as well as the impact they have on the process of learning and teaching History has grown significantly in recent years.
The congress, directed by Juan Francisco Jiménez Alcázar, professor of Medieval History at the UMU, aims to become a meeting place for all those who wish to communicate their experiences on this topic, so that debate points are generated to follow advancing in the seat of the video game as a channel that accompanies the development of the Digital Humanities from the perspective of History, Communication and Education Sciences.
