The Office of International Projects of the Catholic University together with the Degree in Audiovisual Communication and Dance, celebrate from November 26 to 30 the first edition of the 'UCAM Refresh Week', a cultural week on Murcia in which will also participate artists from Italy, Romania and Slovenia in various activities in the areas of film, photography, dance, painting and sculpture, among others
For a week, eight artists from Romania, Italy and Slovenia, travel to Murcia to learn about the cultural heritage of the Region, through the cultural event that the UCAM has prepared with various activities ranging from training workshops, exhibitions, festivals, etc. .
From Monday 26 at 11.30 the UCAM opens its doors to all those interested in participating in this cultural week.
Pablo Cano, director of the OPRI of the Catholic University states that "this project is important because it involves the enhancement of the cultural heritage of the Region of Murcia and the internationalization of it through cultural networks with other European countries."
This is a multicultural conference framed in the European project Refresh, within the Creative Europe category, special call for the European Year of Cultural Heritage.
During five days, students and the public outside the University, will accompany the artists from the three partner countries, in the different activities where they will learn the Murcian culture to create a series of works that will be presented at the closing ceremony of the event.
