Twenty unemployed people have begun to train a new job search in the VI Employment Shuttle Murcia, a career guidance program driven by Santa Maria la Real Foundation, Telefonica Foundation, the Government of the Region of Murcia and the City of Murcia, with the co-financing of the European Social Fund
The VI Employment Shuttle Murcia is composed of a team of 20 unemployed people (13 women and 7 men), aged between 25 and 60 years, and various training profiles: ESO, vocational training, bachelor and university studies.
It is a work orientation program promoted by the Santa María la Real Foundation, the Telefónica Foundation, the Government of the Region of Murcia and the City of Murcia, with the co-financing of the European Social Fund.
There are those who are looking for their first job and who are looking for a new job opportunity after years of experience in different sectors, such as hotels, services, education, retail and marketing, among others.
It constitutes a heterogeneous group, with very varied experiences, whose task now is to become a team and share the same objective: to help each other to improve their professional skills, to undertake a search for more serious, professional, proactive and coordinated work, in order to have new Job opportunities.
From now on and during the next five months, they will meet several days a week in premises given free of charge by the City Council.
They will carry out various activities: emotional intelligence workshops, communication dynamics, personal branding and job search 2.0;
job interview training;
Preparation of employability maps, visits to companies and meetings with human resources managers with the aim of achieving the full insertion of the twenty participants.
Registration still open
Even if the shuttle has started to work, the registration will continue open on the program's website: http://lanzaderasdeempleo.es/formulario-de-encripcion.
The objective pursued with this is to complete the pool of participants, in order to cover the possible losses due to job insertion that are usually recorded during the first weeks.
