The IES Carmen de Murcia inaugurated its week 'From Literature to Cinema' within the framework of the Erasmus + programs, an act attended by the general director of Attention to Diversity and Educational Quality, Francisco Martínez.
The center participates in this program as a coordinator and has as partners centers in Gorzów Wielskopolski (Poland), Verdún (France) and Dresden (Germany).
The institute has been working since last year on how important literary works have been adapted to the screen.
The activities that are being carried out revolve around 'El Capitán Alatriste', while it has been taken to the cinema and in several languages.
Within the Erasmus + program, a total of 24 fourth-year ESO students will participate in the organized exchanges.
Last year there were 16 students who traveled to Verdun and Dresden, eight to each city, and next April another eight students will travel to Gorzów Wielskopolski.
In addition, the center has received 21 students from the partner centers (eight from Verdun, seven from Dresden and six from Gorzów) accompanied by six teachers, two from each center.
The week is completed with activities ranging from solidary markets of books, debates and comic workshops, or fencing, among others.
