Delve into the 'Erotic Arab Poetry' with the UMU professor Pilar Garrido (16/11/2018)

Next Monday, November 19 at 7:30 p.m., in the Cultural Area Room of El Corte Inglés, the talk "Arab Erotic Poetry" will take place.

Pilar Garrido Clemente, professor at the University of Murcia (UMU) will give a lecture in which she will share the secrets of Islamic literature.

"The Arabic language has been and continues to be a privileged vehicle for the expression of sensuality, love, sound, eroticism, sexuality, and a parabolic language of the signs of the body", illustrates the expert in Arab studies.

This activity is organized by the Unit of Scientific Culture of the Vice-rectorate of Communication and Culture of the University of Murcia, within the cycle of conferences 'The UMU and the scientific culture'.

The objective is to bring the research carried out at the University of Murcia to society closer.

Admission is free until full capacity is reached
